My masters research project and exhibit is an oral history focused on the rejection of Italian immigrant children from francophone elementary and secondary schools in post-1945 Montreal, up to the reforms of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Supervised by Dr. John C. Walsh.

The Shop (2018)

 

The Shop is an audio/ambient sound piece created from a sound collecting trip at Digifab (in Hudson, NY) + a song collection interview where I sang a song my dad used to sing to my sister and I when we were kids. It was a short, experimental piece produced during my time at the Oral History Summer School in May 2018.
